It is the 2nd MVNOs Industry Summit in a row this year for MY Evolution to participate and share its MVNO and M2M application service experiences with many industry peers and MNOs. Following MVNOs world congress in Rome back in April this year, it was an exciting time to gather in Bangkok for these two days with a dense representation of the Telecom industry.
Where present international brands such as Tune Talk, MVNO best practice with Slimtel Australia and PosteMobile Italia, successful MNO strategy and partnership with Indosat, Axiata, Celcom, Deutsche Telekom Asia and Grameenphone as well as various exciting mobile applications and business model such as GloGlu UK.
Roaming and M2M business models were a few time mentioned to be at the top opportunities for International MVNOs. Rene Arbefeuille, our CMO speaking at the summit highlighted that industrial companies and M2M applications service providers require specific or customised services & solutions when addressing M2M, which can be better provided by a dedicated M2M MVNO with global services and solutions. That M2M services and business enablers must be backed up by a strong M2M connected device platform. To conclude that broad expertises in the M2M industry ecosystem along with a tailored made support and services is determinant to be relevant to M2M component and device manufacturers, M2M value added resellers, M2M system integrators. MY Evolution combines those core capabilities and roles.
We are excited to be part of next year MVNOs Industry Summit Asia that will take place in Kuala Lumpur, city of our operations.
Rene Arbefeuille summarised his own experience at the Asia Summit in Bangkok: “I really enjoyed spending these 2 days with inspiring and knowledgeable people. Sharing experiences and used cases was of a great interest to me. A must event for MVNOs, ASP and industry players to gather and network. Thank you to Emilly Farrar and Lucy Ashton from Informa Telecoms & Media for their great organisation work and attendance.”
