You are a Solution Architect with the ability to keep up with state-of-art technologies, and you want to join a leading IoT start-up.
You are able to create frameworks, designs and integration of new products, enhancements or systems together. Using your knowledge in software architecture, you are able to determine infrastructural needs, applications requirements and worksflow diagrams, api designs and more. You are able to communicate with other teams to determine needs, feasibility and plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of work experience in a relevant role
- Proven history of generating innovative and effective solutions
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily digestible manner
- Experience with database management and proper systems security best practices
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions
- Solution requirements and necessary designs and plans to ensure projects and solutions satisfy those needs
- Act as a contributing member of the project team from project inception to completion
- Actively listen to client problems and needs to implement that information when creating solution plans
- Provide advice and make decisions about which technologies would be suitable to use for various projects
- Consistently monitor the scope of projects
- Collaborate with project managers and other staff members to develop budgets and timelines for solutions
- Assess and evaluate risk as required
- Maintain understanding of how individual work and decisions fit into the broader organizational picture
- Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry
- Mentor, educate, and train colleagues as requested
Technical Skills
- Telecom or IoT expertise is key
- Billing, CRMs, BI, DWH, Mediation, FrontEnds, Backends, APIs, Workflows should be a second nature
- JAVA, C#, Python, PHP, PL/SQL, Bash/Powershell, HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, JQuery
- Spring, Hibernate, JSP, Web service (Restful, SOAP) JBoss
- Data Technology : DOM, xslt, dtd, json, XML
- Linux, Unix • MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB
- SCRUM, UML, SVN, GIT
